This small course with lots of hands-on personal attention introduces students to a variety of mark-making and printing techniques in etching. Suitable for beginners.

$200 for two-session full course, $125 for the first introductory session, which can be taken as a stand alone.
This course begins with an exploration of techniques for planning and carving woodblock and linocut prints, and then takes students through various approaches to making complex, multicolor relief images using multiblock, reduction, and jigsaw techniques.
Four sessions on Tuesdays from 7pm - 9:30pm.

Learn basic to advanced techniques in stone lithography with traditional drawing materials. Throughout the course, each student will have their own stone to work on, care for, and develop a relationship with.

This one-day intensive introduces students to multicolor textile printing. This is not an introductory class - see prerequisites below.

Includes one month of membership and four 2-hour sessions of one-on-one instruction (or equivalent), scheduled at mutual convenience with the master printer over the course of the month.

In this two-session workshop, students will expose, etch, and print a copperplate photogravure.

In this one-on-one workshop with the Master Printer, learn to use our electroplating bath to "steelface" your etching plates. Steelfacing makes for easier printing, longer print runs, and more consistent printing of fine aquatints and drypoint plates.
BYO copper etching plates to steelface, as many as time permits. Scheduled at mutual convenience with the Master Printer.
In this four-session workshop, students will explore the essential techniques of mokuhanga, the Japanese woodcut technique of ukiyo-e, the "floating world."

Some relief printing experience recommended.
In this two-session class, students will learn to prepare templates for plate photolithography, expose and develop two plates for a multi-layer image, and print their work.
