Richly illustrated by artist Madeleine Boucher and set to composer Michael Simonelli’s soundscape, Rachel developed the poem into a “Listening Party,” a guided group exploration and intimate conversation probing our lived experience of climate disruption, mass extinction, and hope in the face of the mortality of our own bodies, our species, and our planet.
We set out to materialize the “Listening Party” experience—setting, staging, sound, and solidarity in a box. These objects, alongside the listening party in both vinyl record and digital formats, set the stage to inspire new conversations about our planet, climate, and sustainability. Suitable for both private and classroom settings.
